DOH recognizes Taguig as most active ka-HEARTner city

The City of Taguig has been recognized as the most active ka-HEARTner city by the Department of Health and Metro Manila Center for Health Development. The award was given during the celebration of the Philippine Heart Month with the theme "Healthy Ka-Heart, Healthy FOURever" on February 23, 2023.

The recognition acknowledges the outstanding efforts of Mayor Lani Cayetano in promoting heart health among Taguigueños, and Taguig's dedication to being a Caring City that prioritizes the health and wellbeing of its residents.

To celebrate the Philippine Heart Month, the City of Taguig launched several initiatives, including the first-ever Lifestyle-Related Disease Summit, Ka-Heartner Online Forum, and the Happy Ka-Heartner Day! Social Media Campaign.

These initiatives aim to promote heart health and encourage citizens to adopt healthy lifestyle choices.

Mayor Lani Cayetano expressed her gratitude for the recognition and thanked all the stakeholders who supported their initiatives. She emphasized the importance of taking care of one's heart and making healthy choices in daily life.

The City of Taguig will continue its efforts to promote heart health and provide better health services to its residents.
