Taguig City celebrated the success of their Business One-Stop-Shop (BOSS) during the flag-raising ceremony held on February 27, 2023.
The Business Permits and Licensing Office (BPLO) shared that the city recorded a significant increase of P1.17 billion in collected taxes compared to the previous year.
Mayor Lani Cayetano expressed her gratitude to the taxpayers and the city's employees who worked together to ensure the smooth processing of business taxes and permit renewals for Taguig residents in 2023.
During the event, BPLO head Atty. Tes Veloso discussed the steps they plan to take to further improve the BOSS system, including planning for BOSS 2024, analyzing data gathered from the previous BOSS, and continuous engagement with taxpayers.
Mayor Lani Cayetano encouraged the council and department leaders to strengthen Taguig's programs to provide better services, benefits, and incentives to Taguig residents.
She emphasized that the increase in tax collection should not just be viewed as data, but rather as something that should be felt by the people through the services and programs that the city provides.
The City of Taguig is committed to continuing its efforts to provide efficient and effective services to its residents.
