Taguig mayor aids Western Bicutan fire victims
Taguig City Mayor Lani Cayetano on Wednesday visited Barangay Western Bicutan just hours after a fire razed one of its sitios.
With the help of officials of various government offices, Cayetano gave financial aid to the estimated 112 families affected by the fire.
She also led the distribution of food, beddings, and other relief items to the victims
Cayetano’s brother-in-law, Mayor-elect Lino Cayetano, sent bags containing toiletry kits to the residents affected by the fire.
The mayor was joined in the distribution of aid by officials from the Bureau of Fire Protection, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Taguig Rescue, Barangay Affairs Office, City Social Welfare Development Office, Medical Assistance Office, Public Order and Security Office, and General Services Office.
