Taguig observes National Women's Month
In a flagraising ceremony this morning, March 6, the City of Taguig, led by the City Gender and Development Office (CGDO), joined in the celebration of National Women's Month with the theme "We for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society."
Mayor Lani Cayetano highlighted the importance of valuing, giving space, and supporting women. She also reminded everyone of their obligation to raise children responsibly, with love, care, and support for women's rights.
CGDO Head Jingle Nechaldas shared the activities that Taguig will launch for the celebration of National Women's Month.
These include a women's caravan, sports fest, urban gardening training and workshop, makeup tutorial, health summit, women with disability day, and many more.
Taguig City continues to promote safe communities and provide equal opportunities for women. The city government is committed to ensuring that women are given the respect and support they deserve in every aspect of their lives.
